What is making you smile today?

At the moment I am trying to sort out various photos for some page kits I am trying hard to put together for a long weekend scrapping retreat away with my closest girlfriends ( I CANNOT wait I can tell you!) Just the thought of it has made me smile.
But flicking through my photos and sorting them out for each kit I came across these 2. When I first met my hubby, one of the first things I noticed about him( apart from his gorgeous eyes and warm smile) was his ability to make me smile.....and laugh! And to be honest I have always found that very attractive in a man. And over the years I have smiled and laughed and laughed and laughed to the point of aching so many times ( its the best therapy you can get!!)
On this coming Sunday it will be the 22nd Anniversary of our very first date....I remember fondly having a lot of laughs that day.....and a lot ever since.
It's really made me smile looking through a few wedding pics too....how young we looked!!!!!! Well he was only 19!

And it really made me smile again finding this photo, which was taken on our last wedding anniversary.

So....what has made YOU smile today? Please leave a comment and let me know :) xxxxx

"A smile costs nothing but gives much. It enriches those who receive without making poorer those who give. It takes but a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever. None is so rich or mighty that he cannot get along without it and none is so poor that he cannot be made rich by it. Yet a smile cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is of no value to anyone until it is given away. Some people are too tired to give you a smile. Give them one of yours, as none needs a smile so much as he who has no more to give."

  2. Awww some gorgeous piccies there Anita - look forward to seeing the layouts that you do with them.

Well I was postively beaming at 01.00 today - R and I were watching the dvd of the 2nd night of last year's convention to find that we are in the final shot as the camera pans round the audience. He missed it so had to rewind and playback numerous times. I was thrilled as they don't usually show any shots of those in the seated area. Funny how the little things can make you so happy!!
