February with Scrapology is P is for Patchwork!
This month over at Scrapology we are scraplifting a super layout designed and created by SJ for the Cardinal Colours Retreat last autumn. We really enjoyed creating this class layout and thought you might like to have a go at it too, so this month our technique is to use your patterned (or plain) papers to create a patchwork background. ( it's a great way to use up scraps, just like in fabric patchworking)
Here is my layout for the DT gallery. I have used papers, cardstock and embellies by WeR Memory Keepers for my page. I loved the bright colours and I thought they complimented my photo perfectly to depict the summer fun my youngest had last year with her new body board. Some of the papers are embossed with glitter but it doesn't show on the photos unfortunately.
Here is S-J's original, beautiful class layout.
And here is the sketch that Lynn very kindly created for us all to work from.
As always there is a super prize that has once again been generously donated by the lovely Jill of Cardinal Colours
We look forward to seeing what you create.
Warmest Wishes
