A Couple of Cards....

Hello out there in Blogland, I hope you are having a good week so far?

I made this card at the end of last week for a friend of mine who had her birthday on Sunday, she isn't a crafter herself, but she does enjoy seeing and receiving hand made goodies. Infact, myself and another friend are trying to gradually lure her into the world of crafting.....mwahahahahahaaaaaaaaaa! We SHALL succeed!

This next card was for a special little girls very 1st Birthday, on Sunday it was also Dale's counsin's little lady's 1st Birthday....where does the time go?

Happy Mothers Day....

Evening all :) this is just a very VERY quick fly through, I will hopefully get back on with a bit more time tomorrow so I can catch up on your blogs and see your beautiful work and comment . I hope that those of you who are Mummys have had a wonderful day today? I just wanted to share with you the Mothers Day card I made for my lovely Mum. Its my first attempt at a Tent Card and I was totally inspired by one I saw on Sarah's lovely blog, so thank you for the inspiration Hun :) I know I have probably used the wrong kind of image and backing paper, but I like it....and more to the point so does my lovely, lovely Mum...(((((hugs)))))) if you are reading this..xxxx

Make a Wish......?

evening all :), I hope you all had a lovely weekend and that your week is going well so far?

I really must play catch up and post some things that i have been making....only a quickie post tonight as I am wrecked and need some beauty sleep....and QUICK!!!!

I made this card a week or so ago and keep meaning to post it. I used some scraps of Basic Grey and made the card base from Bazzill. The Make a Wish Stamp i *think* I downloaded free from somewhere, I am so sorry I cannot remember where though. The stamp was one in a mixed pack of stamped images I bought, I think she is really cute. I sparkled up some blossoms from my stash and added some gems and lace...think thats about it.

Well, I best be off and double check my bag for tomorrow morning class at Jill's....by the way, have you seen the Seaside Retreat that she will be running in Eastbourne in Sept? Pop over to her site, Cardinal Colours and read all about it....its going to be a great weekend....and we all deserve to treat ourselves once in a while don't we :)...xxxxxxxxxx

Lovely left overs.

Just a quickie post tonight....I made this card last night using the leftovers from the layout for the Craft Barn Challenge, I had just enough scraps and used a Miss Anya image that I had bought a little while ago.

The large flower is an ivory Gardenia from Wild Orchid Crafts, they stock the most exquisite flowers and their service is superb. I inkied it on the edges to match the colour in the papers. I meant to give the young lady some eyeshadow....unfortunately it looks more like she has a nasty eye infection lol....oh well.

Right, I best be off and sort out kits for this weeks classes at Jills...Cardinal Colours , she has got some stunning new products in, you should check them out...
