A layout of my gorgeous youngest niece, Maddie, I took the photo when she was just 10 days old.
I loved these gentle papers from Prima and thought they would work well for this page. (Unfortunately the light wasn;t at all good when I took this pic, so I may retake it and upload a better one hopefully)
All I had to do was a little fussy cutting and plop on some crystals, blossoms and Stickles!
To make the title I took some plain chipboard letters, coated in Glossy Accents, I then poured glass seed beads all over, when dry I sealed over the top again with more Glossy Accents. When that was all dry I rubbed a little Crystal Stickles over...and it really glistens in the light.
I am sure lots of you have some seed beads languishing in the bottom of a drawer or craft box somewhere....why not get them out and glue them down :). chipboard swirls can look absolutely scrumptious treated the same way.

Walking in a Winter Wonderland......
Better late than never I guess ! This was our walk last weekend....yep, you guessed it, Hampden Park again LOL. But this time it was a beautiful, white and sparkly Winter Wonderland. We had my neice with us as she had a sleepover with Chloe :)
We didn't have any bread so the bird had to do with tortilla wraps instead lol.
How about this for some camouflage then LOL!
The poor little fresh shoot that I found the other week is looking a bit chilly and sorry for itself :(
So pretty to look out over the lake...i love this shot.
Me and my 'Snow' Man :) xxx
LOL at Chloe, she was actually eating an ice cream cone here from Mcdonalds!
Lots of poorly peeps in this house this weekend :(, so I doubt we will get out for a walk. Hope you have a wonderful weekend, whatever you are up to. xxxxx

Special moments with you. Prima *Almanac*
I really must catch up to date with some of the layouts I have made.....this one is a few months old now!!!
The papers are from Prima and their beautiful Almanac collection ....such gorgeous, distressed colours and patterns..
I thought it would work well for this photo of me and my lovely sister at her wedding. I had always, ALWAYS wanted to be a bridesmaid....and sadly it never happened when I was a child :(.....but I always hoped that when Donna got married that I could be one.
Typical wasn't it that when she decided to get married, I also managed to get pregnant!!!
So 2 weeks before I had Lauren, I waddled down the aisle behind my gorgeous sister....and instead of wearing the beautiful bridesmaid/matron of honour dress, I ended up wearing a pink tent and looking like a blancmange lol( but my hair and flowers were lovely!!)
It really was a wonderful day and I was blessed to be part of it.
All the papers and cut outs are from the collection ( I made a mistake with the date though lol)
I made the beaded pins using odd beads from my stash and used some flat backed gems and pearls as centres for the flowers.
Thanks for looking xx

Bo Bunny TimePiece........Adore
I thought I should blog this as I made it ages ago. I really like the Bo Bunny Timepiece collection, its easy to work with and is quite versatile . I just added some black bazzill, a doily that I inked with antique gold, some gold nail-heads and some organza ribbon and glass pearls.
I cut the title out on the Cricut...added some Platinum Stickles on the clock images and scrapped my favourite photo of Dale :)
I ruffled up and stitched the organza to the page and then sewed on the pearl beads in various
positions along the ribbon.

Bright and Beautiful....but BRRrrr...oh so chilly!
On my way to Cardinal Colours this morning I just had to stop and snap a couple of photos as I drove over the marsh road. Although it was so bitterly cold, the sunshine was beautiful and the sky was a lovely blue.
It doesn't really show in the photo, but the river was frozen over but sparkled like it was covered in crystals....soooo pretty....but I just couldn't capture the sparkle....gutted!
I rather liked the black and white shot aswell....it somehow felt more chilly.
Jill's garden is just gorgeous and even prettier when it's covered in frost. She has a lovely tree near the studio that has cones on it....this one looked like it had been sprinkled in sugar!
I see on the news that snow is now forecast for pretty much everywhere tomorrow.....so hopefully some photo opportunities over the weekend......but along with the beauty comes the danger....so please be careful if you are out an about and stay safe xx

Good Morning Sunshine.......
As I came out the doors to head home from work this morning I was greeted by a B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L. sunrise. So I hurried home and grabbed my camera, this was the view out my kitchen window, looking out over towards Pevensey Marshes. When I left work there were stunning bright pinks and lilacs, but these had rapidly changed before I got to snap this shot.....
And then I picked up my youngest and went and collected her friend and her Mum and dropped them to school and work.....but not before I stopped to snap a couple of quick pics by the Common Pond. It was just glorious and I am quite gutted that my camera/photo taking skills are just not good enough to capture the true beauty.
I hope your day is as gorgeous as this xxxx

The Stockings Were Hung........
Another Christmas layout....this time using Fancy Pants 'Saint Nick' papers.
I really liked the soft, almost distressed colours in this collection and scrapped an old photo of Lauren....taken at Christmas 1999. She was wearing a favourite dress that I loved her in, made from navy blue velvet dress with a lovely lace collar....she looked adorable.
I added a few buttons to the trees for decorations...which I bought from Cardinal Colours....an absolute bargain as a bag full is only 99p!!

First walk of the year...(photo heavy!!)
After having lots of illness in our house over Christmas holidays and all the bad weather too we hadn't had chance to go out for a nice stroll anywhere....so on Sunday we drove down to Hampden Park and walked around the lake, feeding the ducks, geese....and pesky seagulls!
Check out this knarly seagull, he really thought he should have that bit of bread!
Hmmm.......I wonder if this fella takes any notice of the signs???
These bull rushes reminded me of the one attempt I made at cooking on a barbeque....the sausages looked VERY much like that LOL!!!!
As it was Sunday I was planning a roast for dinner.......he!he!he! Roast potatoes anyone?? ;)
I found this tiny little fella down inside a rotting fence post....so delicate...yet strong at the same time.
Muddy Toes!
Hmmmmmmm.........
One thing there was plenty of.....MUD!
In various places around the lake we came across trees that were decorated with all sorts of Christmas decs....some only had tinsel, some just ribbons and some with baubles too. One was even covered with cuddly toy santa's, Christmas bears, tinsel, baubles and angels.....each tree was remembering someone special who is no longer here....so sad and poignant...but pretty and special.
So that was our first little walk of 2013...hopefully there will be lots more....and I promise to try to not bore you with too many photos lol. xxx

It was so nice to see the signs of new life emerging from underneath the crispy, dead leaves.

You Are One Of A Kind - my canvas class at Cardinal Colours Autumn Retreat.
This is the large canvas class I taught back in the autumn at the Cardinal ColoursWeekend Crop. I used papers by My Minds Eye from their beautiful Sweetest Thing -Honey- Collection
( IT LOOKS REALLY MIS-SHAPEN ....BUT I PROMISE ITS ABSOLUTELY SQUARE!....lol)
I also added some large flat backed gems and some alpha stickers onto the kit. The canvas was a nice large one, 16 inches square!
I think the ladies that took the class enjoyed making it......hope so anyway :) xx

Completely inspired.....
by a layout I saw and saved sometime ago ( beautifully created by the awesome scrapper Delaina Burns).....I made these 2 layouts a while ago using Echo Park papers.
I completely fell in love the the double sewn frame. The first layout is of Dale and Lauren, taken on holiday in 2011 and on a day out to Cliveden, a National Trust property in Buckinghamshire.
This layout is also using Echo Park and the photo is of my Mum,
myself and my little Sister, several years ago LOL and taken on the side of the River Thames, probably whilst staying at my Auntie's on holiday. ( check out my pvc coat lol)
And this is the absolutely beautiful original layout that totally inspired me...gorgeous isn't it!

Santa Baby.....2009
I made this layout using Echo Park's 'Seasons Greetings' papers. And then I die cut some swirls and findings using some Sizzix Bigz dies by Tim Holtz.
I used some silver mirri board to cut the shapes and then dabbed with alcohol inks, using terracotta and the mettallic gold.
I then punched 3 large circles and 3 large squares, stuck the squares in the centre of the circles and folded the excess of the circles back over the edges of the squares.
I then repeated and punched 6 small of each. I finished them off by popping crystals in the centres.
The photo is a few years old and is of Chloe ( posing for a Christmas card photo lol) I used some gold glitter AC Thickers for the title. xx

Someone to love...is family. January Scrapology Challenge
Yay.....I have had a little visit from my vacant mojo fairy( she cleared off months ago :( ). So I made this layout for our January challenge over at Scrapology
The theme is T is for tags and we have lifted a fabby layout by Elaine Rolf.
I used up scrips and scraps of paper left overs from other layouts....some Bo Bunny Timepeice and some Simple Stories Generations, based on a sheet of Kraft Bazill.
I inked, spritzed, distress stickled, shimmer sprayed and stamped and made some fabric flowers. I used my SU doily stamps ( had them for some time and not yet used them!!) and I made the tags from some un-used Christmas gift tags and used the reverse of them
This month we are using tags on our layouts and following a sketch ( shown below) . We have been lucky enough to lift this lovely layout by Elaine Rolf , you can see more of her super work by clicking on her name and visiting her blog.
