Yes, sad I know, but I am chuffed to bits with my first 2 cards. I ordered some stamped images from ebay and they came end of last week. So when I was down at my Mum and Dad's house doing some scrappping on friday I borrowed their Whispers pens and a water filled brush and had a play. I know I need lots of practice( especially with the colouring), but I am really happy with these first attempts. I guess I just treated the card like a little mini layout and had fun. I used some of my new Prima E-Line Bling from Cardinal Colours( I SHALL be needing lots more LOL) and some prima flowers frome my stash. It was actuallly really nice cutting up some papers that I have had for YEARS! It felt so good to actually get them out, use them and not just shove them into a box somewhere. Anyway, here they are....what do you think?
I have found a really lovely lady on ebay today who I am going to buy some other different images from, she has been really helpful.....so guess who shall be stalking the postie in the not too distant future LOL!
Today I have been working on a project for my December classes at Jill's, so far its looking ok, just needs the finishing touches ;).
Tomorrow I am having my Autumn colours put in my hair, I can't wait, I love being fair in the summer, but always love the warm reds and browns that I have in for the Autumn/Winter. I don't know about you, but I always like a new hair do better about a week or so after it has been done and had chance to settle. Well, I think its time I went for a surf about other peoples blogs, hope you all have a lovely evening.
ttfn..
Warmest wishes

ReplyDeleteLove the cards Anita. Told you it was easy to do them. Love the stamps too and I think you've water coloured them in really well. Watch out though, it can become very addictive LOL and cards can be so much quicker than layouts! xx
ReplyDeleteYou are a great card maker, judging from the lovely cards you have made me over the years, and these are super. As you say a great way to use up bits left over from lay outs. Great stuff Anita. Look forward to eeing more.
